Fan Fest 2014

And she's Swedish!

When Sam, Elisabeth and the other ward girls met Elin, the exchange student staying in the neighborhood, they all loved her. And the girls quickly cooked up the idea Sam should ask her to homecoming. He had to be quick before someone else did, so off we went!  The fish he bought her was so pretty but ducked back in the rock when I tried to get a picture.

Ogden Temple Open House

I'm so glad our family was able to attend the Temple open house this morning. The Temple is magnificiant and I love that anyone can go and see it before it is dedicated. I love my forever family.

She'll be great...

We had two other missionaries leave the same day as Blake. Ethan Knapp will be serving in Saint Louis and Kylee will going to Latvia! Sam has been friends with both of them. Kylee has been an amazing friend to both my kids. She will be missed in our young women's group and the people of Latvia will be lucky to have her.

mini me...

Elisabeth and Jillian Brinton have become such great friends this summer... Slurpee runs and loud laughter for days. Jill and Sam are also great friends so I had to get a pic at her brothers wedding.

Rafting...

We've been river rafting several times and never had anybody fall out.  But there is a first time for everything, and off Jeremiah went!  It was right at Lunch Counter so we go great pictures, including one where he saved his beloved Lambeau hat.

9th and 11th...

And there off!  It's hard to believe how old they are and that Sam drove himself to school!

So you take off...

Some sort of modern art where you were supposed to make your own version with the styrofoam rocks.

John Rockefeller Visitor Center in the Tetons.

Slide Lake

We found Olaf.

We spent the morning at Jackson Hole ski resort and rode the tram to 10,400 feet where you an get a 360 degree view of the Tetons and Jackson.

Of course a visit to the Bar J Wranglers.

to Jackson, Wyoming to play and not think about your friends going on mission, school board campaigns, the upcoming first day of school or work.  Jeremiah figured the kids and I played all summer without him and it was time for a family vacation before school started.  We had a great time enjoying beautiful Jackson.
