2000 balloons...
Another year of the Hillcrest PTA Valentines balloon fundraiser has come and gone with a record 2000 balloons filled and delivered to school full of twitterpated junior high kids.

From Elisabeth, Number of heartbeats until we leave to Disneyland.

The Choices We Make....
Because I'm a little over the top in love with my calling in Young Women's, here is a little bit of what I did for our lesson about choices.

I'm Gonna Pop Some Tags...
The theme was thrift shop, but they were not thirfty! Sam may not be asking to another dance anytime soon after finding out how expensive they can be. So the plan was...
10:00 - Boondocks for day acitivity. With a stop at McDonald's and an ice cream.
4:00 - Home to change into oh so hot DI clothes.
5:30ish - Mier's Chicken at the church and general hanging around.
8:00 - dance at the high school
10:30 - Back home to change again!
10:45 - Hang out at someone's house for a little pool and fun.
11:00 - Classic Fun Center
2:00 - Girls need to be home, because the original plan included a midnight curfew.
2:30 - Finally home!
Sam and Jillian had a great time. Especially if you take out Sam falling and hitting his nose on metal stairs at Boondocks! And completely trashing his toe at about 1:00 am at Classic when they made him take his shoes off in the laser tag. Jill's such a great friend to both my kids! It was so great of her to go with Sam to his first dance, so Sam took her a rose to say thank you and all his senior friends thought that was the best idea ever!
