Party Crashers...

The Beehives came over tonight for s'mores and silliness.  And then I caught the Miamaids giving us a "heart attack." Turns out that they were doing it for me, they wrote the sweetest notes.  When the younger girls saw the older girls out front they invited them back to jump on the trampoline and have treats.  Oh, how these girls make me laugh!

When Trus is tired he says...

"Binda, it's been a busy day."

This means I'm tired take me home.

But this day it was way before bed time and there was no keeping him awake.

I even moved him into the stroller and back into the carseat without him waking up.

Josh...

Tonight Sam said farewell, for 2 years, to his "goodest" friend! Yes, goodest "a lot of people have lots of best friends, a goodest friend is even better."Josh is such a great friend and example to Sam it will be hard getting used to him not being at our house. The four fella's, Josh, Blake, Brandon and Sam, have become so close in the last few years, and even thought things will never be the same I know they will always be friends.  In Josh's farewell talk, which was AWESOME, espeically for a kid who so nervous, he even mentioned Valerie (Blake's Mom) and I as his other mothers, since it was Mother's Day.  This shy kid is so kind, smart and funny and needs to let the people Mexico City just see that and he will win them over.

Both the kids had pieces in a student art show at Fashion Place Mall.  They both were surpised that their pieces were picked, since they were both not thrilled with the piece.  But all the same they were on display and Sam's even earned an Honorable Mention!

Oh Boy He's 2...

With spring comes my six weeks of tending Truscott while his parents are both off to work.  Boy is he a two year old, or maybe a 18 year old!?  He asks why hundreds of times a day, cracks himself up all the time, is super dramatic and keeps me on my toes.  But we LOVE him so much, in fact he tells me he loves me "to the moon, through the river and over the mountain!"  I add to the stars and hang a right and come back!
