Just the beginning...

It's only day one of spring break and already my kids have

Passed out flyers to the whole ward.
Made a potato canon with Joe.
Dyed Easter Eggs.
Hung out and had pizza with the cousins.
Played outside.
Fought.
and made a hammock from our ripped trampline.

9 more days.

Easter at the Rigbys...

Before everyone headed out town we had an early Easter dinner and egg hunt.  We also attempted to take a picture of all the cousins.

Kickin' off Cleats for Feet...

This past week Sam has been organizing his Eagle Scout project.  This morning he began in earnest and already has 25 pairs of athletic shoes, 6 pairs of socks and 7 pairs of shoelaces!

Spring Cleaning...

Watch out it's that time of year again, when I find pure joy in getting rid of STUFF! Spring cleaning is in full swing at the Johnson, that and a little thing called and Eagle Project.  One of the top priorities was Elisabeth and I's craft crap.  Elisabeth LOVES to have a few crafts going all the time, and between Young Women's and Pinterest finds I have been crafting more and things had just got out of control.  Things are much better now though!

Sevies...

Our brave adminstrators took the entire 7th grade downtown yesterday to see a movie about bullying.

Cousins...

My Rigby aunts put together an impromptu dinner last weekend, and by chance so many of us could come.  Sheila was in town and Brandy had her new baby boy that morning so they had her other boys.  There are so many little kids, Elisabeth was in heaven, Sam not so much.  And they ate so much cotton candy I am sure somebody was sick on the way home.

This is what we do after youth night...

On a whim I let Sam take his first try at driving in the church parking lot!  We was so nervous and so excited and he, Elisabeth and I really got the giggles and that didn't help!

Cook off 2013 - Girls v. Boys - Main course won by the girls, deseret won by the boys, apparently it is always a split decision.  Here's a few pics, does anybody really care about the food?

Eagle Project Time...

It's Eagle Project time for Sam and since he doesn't do social media here's his message...




I will be working with a group called Cleats for Feet for my Eagle project. I will be gathering cleats and gym shoes of all sizes, plus laces and new socks. I will clean them up and then deliver them to local rec. centers for kids who can't get their own. Since it is spring cleaning time, if you find any cleats or gym shoes and want to set aside for my project that would be great. My mom will post more information for when we will be gathering shoes or you can drop them off at our house.
