Yesterday, this beautiful Temple was dedicated. I am so grateful to have taken the youth the open house and then be able to see the dedication with my family. I LOVED the talk the Temple President, Preston Checketts gave, was my favorite part. He talked about how habits are the bodies way of making thing easier, one less thing a body has to think about. He then talked to the youth about setting good habits, so when you are forced to make a hard decision your answer is there. Then he told the youth that having a Temple recommend and attending the Temple is a habit we must all establish. And to the adults that this too must be our habit. Then he gave this thought, say tomorrow our Stake Presidents and Bishops announced that the Lord was in the Temple and that he was visiting with the people, do you have your recommend? because, guess what he said, those Bishop and Stake Presidents won't be sitting at their offices signing recommends, they will be headed to the Temple themselves to be in the presence of the Lord. It was so good! I love that everything wasn't actually perfect, there was humor too, our church is not made of perfect people, just people trying their best.

We've Got Spirit...
We've been going to all the Murray home football games and Elisabeth has really got some school spirit (she is loud and proud of all her teams!) she got together this get up for Murray's homecoming and it was a hit. So she decided to wear it to the Olympus v. Murray game, Oly's homecoming, the next week! Oh my, did she give her cousins stress!
Me and T...
Back to School means back to tending my little man! He is "one and a half" as he will tell you and SO SMART! He says anything and copies everything, I am pretty sure he says my name 800 times a day. One morning we were cleaning in the basement, so I decided to brainwash him a little! I got him to say "Go Pack Go!" he's dad had tried to teach him to say, "no Belinda, Go Eagles," but so far the Pack is sticking better!

YW Retro Modest Fashion Show...
The 3rd ward girls invited our girls to a retro modest fashion show.
The girls looked so cute all dressed up, but with her red lipstick and
sassy ways, it really hit me that Elisabeth turns 13 next month!

Handouts...
Elisabeth and I made these handouts for Young Women's today, the idea was on Sugardoodle, we thought they turned out super cute. Our lesson was on avoiding degrading media, we had a great talk, our girls are outstanding kids.
Swiss Days...
We spent the Saturday of Labor Day weekend enjoying Swiss Days again. We brought Grandma and Grandpa along. We were lucky and missed most of the rain, but managed only to take these pictures.
