Cinderella...

Tonight Elisabeth finished up another beautiful ballet performance with Children's Ballet Theater.  This year they performed Cinderella, Elisabeth was in the ballet lesson and the village.  The girls all work so hard and they are getting old enough to take much of the responsibility themselves.  Elisabeth is always talking about "my friend Abby," and tonight I got to meet her.

Arbor Day...

Boston... in very few pictures...

For the first time, maybe ever but at least years, I went away without a husband or kids.  It was so strange and I was anxious, I missed them terribly, although having nobody to clean up after was nice.  I traveled to Boston for the National School Board convention.  We learn lots of new ideas and are inspired by what is happening in other parts of the country.  It is also a great team building experience, trust is huge in the business.  We also get to play together, but with most of our time in classes there wasn't time for sight seeing.  Besides the fact that our dinner cruise was canceled and then the Red Sox/Yankees game at hundred year old Fenway was rained out.  So here are the few pictures I took of what we did do.  I also have pictures from walking to Fenway in the rain, proof I was there, if I can figure to get them off my text messages.

Italian dinner in the Italian District, cool wine cellar like room in the basement.  Totally spicy food!
Marge and Cindy reading at the Holocaust memorial, there are several class towers with the 6 million numbers of the people killed by the Nazi's.  Very sobering, but a good reminder for all of us.
 Yup, they need assistance.
Marge, Sue, Mitzie, Cindy
Darrell celebrating being President of SCUM, but I ended the weekend in the victors chair.  These people could play cards all night, it's hard for this youngster to keep up.
Very cool old restaurant, were I had YUMMY clam chowder and Boston baked beans.
Yes, we pretty much eat all the time!
The last night was celebrated with cannoli's and more SCUM!
What's a visit to the eastern coast without a stop at Johnson family favorite?

Juke box...

Sam is obsessed with the idea of owning a juke box, so he was happy to pose at the one at Black Bear Restaurant.

Onion rings...

Sam decided one day to try making onion rings, they turned out pretty tasty!

A lovely day to paint...

One warm spring day while I was working on the yard the kids decided they were in the mood to paint.

12 and out...

My 12th and final book fair was a great success.  We were back with Scholastic and did well, I love all the ladies who help me, we have a great time catching up and it is also fun to visit with all the families and teachers.  I loved my book fairs days, but I am not sad to leave them behind, it's just time.  But I did think these pictures of our kindergarten and first grade classes show just why I love sharing my love of reading with the kids.

Red Rocks and Regionals...

Elisabeth was excited to attend both the PAC 12 gymnastics finals and the Regional meet.  She loves her RED ROCKS!

Easter...

Baskets, church, the Johnson's, the Rigby's and an egg hunt...

5 Years...

Six years ago we turned our world upside down and moved to St. George, after nine months things were again upended! We lost a job that we thought would long term move towards owning a dealership, we made a huge decision to move back to Salt Lake and well, start over. We were brought to our knees and humbled. We did the only sensible thing and went to Disneyland! Haha, what else do you do when you have no job and decisions to make. We cleared our heads and Jeremiah moved into my parents basement and went back to work at Brent Brown. The kids and I stayed in St. George and finished out school.

That's when we found our little Murray house. 5 years ago, April 8, 2007, Easter weekend we moved in. Well sort of. We came up to stay with Miah and slept on blowup mattresses. The house in Murray was supposed to be a temporary stop, 6 months or so, until the house in St. George sold. Who knew that the entire nations economy was about to tumble. There we were with a house in the false economy of St. George and our work was in the automotive industry, not good. Our temporary stop as become pretty permanment, due to circumstances and choice.

When we realized that it would be an anniversary of sorts we decided to do a then and now picture...

Easter Nails...

Randi painted Elisabeth's nails to match her Easter outfit, so cute! Elisabeth blindfolded herself so that she could be surprised. Elisabeth kept telling Randi how good she was at painting nails, duh, she's a professional!
